Now, you won't recognise this pair of characters by name even if they had them, but they played a very important part in the King's Landing massacre in The Bells and they belong on this list for that reason.

In Thrones narrative lexicon, big battles are pushed through a personal filter to make them land even harder. We've seen Tyrion, Bronn and Jon Snow all playing that part, but for The Bells it was more fitting that some of the innocents Dany was slaughtering should be own the eyes we saw the devastation through (alongside Arya's).

Those eyes belonged to a mother and child who appeared throughout the episode as Dany rained fire down on King's Landing and because this episode was supposed to be a downer, they ended up dead in a loving embrace. Yes, the shots of their charred bodies was a little much, but the message definitely left a mark.
