Game Of Thrones Season 8 Finale: Every Survivor's Ending Ranked Worst To Best
6. Arya Stark
The penultimate episode of Game Of Thrones' final season showed Arya seemingly leaving King's Landing after she was helped to her epiphany moment by the Hound. It was his instruction to turn away from her Kill List that helped her realise that she would become him if she continued on the same path and opened up her chance of a happy ending.
And really, nobody should have been surprised that that's what she got, because the surviving Starks all deserved it.
Arya was also never going to settle down in Storm's End with Gendry or in King's Landing with Bran or in Winterfell with Sansa: she was very much the human version of Nymeria, wilder and freer than her siblings. So a future roaming in the name of exploration suits her character way more, even if she's going into particularly perilous waters and may never actually return.
