Game Of Thrones Season 8 Finale: Every Survivor's Ending Ranked Worst To Best

7. Davos Seaworth

Despite repeatedly saying that he's no fighter, Davos Seaworth, the Onion Knight, somehow made it through the most number of battles of anyone in this forsaken world. He was battered, bruised and defeated, but he always came through, because he was fundamentally on the side of the realm in the end.

Davos' only goal after the death of Stannis was to save the Seven Kingdoms from the Night King and his status "above" the Great Game and refusal to engage in it unless as a means to help stop Winter from coming (much like Jon, really) meant he was always somewhat protected.

After Bran takes over the throne, Davos ends up as the Master Of Ships, which is ironic given his part in the Battle of Blackwater and his track record with ships, but who cares at this point. At least he didn't die and he got to be the Master of Grammar after starting off as an illiterate.
