Game Of Thrones Season 8: Ranking The Probability Of Every Character Death In The Finale

5. Brienne Of Tarth

Brienne Jaime
HBO

Yet another who had their death setup in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms before pulling through The Long Night, there seemed to be more purpose to having Brienne survived when she slept with Jaime - only to then be left broken-hearted as he returned to Cersei.

There's still something quite effective in how it took the character from such an extreme high to a horrible-to-watch low, but it also leaves her role in the finale a bit unclear. She's still around to protect Sansa, so could fight for her in the finale, but could just as likely - and perhaps even more so - remain safe at Winterfell. Her death at this stage would hurt a lot, but that would be about the only reason for doing it unless they're going to attempt to strip Sansa of her protection.

Chance Of Death: 4/10
