In some ways, it's surprising that Podrick has made it this far, considering his performance of Jenny's song was the kind of pre-battle moment that screamed death is coming (that said, just about every character had such a moment in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, so they couldn't all die).

As it stands, Pod remains at Winterfell, and could well see out the series happy and comfortable in the arms of about 7 women, which is exactly what this sweet treasure deserves. But again, if there is a conflict between the North and South, then Podrick would be on the frontlines again, putting him in the crossfires for a cruel blow at the very end.
