Game Of Thrones Theory: Bran Wargs Into Night King's Dragon In Season 8

2. Bran Needs To Play A Major Role In Game Of Thrones' Endgame

Sansa Stark is the Lady of Winterfell. Jon is King in the North, (secretly) the rightful ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, and a great warrior, and Arya herself is a proven fighter. So where does Bran - or the Three-Eyed Raven, since he's more or less left Brandon Stark behind - fit into Game of Thrones Season 8?

As it stands, the only thing we know about his role in Season 8 is that he'll be revealing to Jon that the woman he's fallen in love with is actually his aunt. That itself is going to be a big deal, since there will be far-reaching implications of that reveal upon Game of Thrones' biggest characters and Westeros as a whole. But that also boils down to minimal action on Bran's part, since it's him telling Jon, with the bigger focus on how Jon and Dany (and everyone else) reacts to the news.

Since Bran is the Three-Eyed Raven and, thus, one of the most powerful people in Westeros, his role in the final season should really be a lot more than revealing the truth of Jon's parentage. His entire arc on the show has been about building up his skinchanging and greenseeing abilities, about him becoming the Three-Eyed Raven, the purpose and meaning of his visions. It'd be underwhelming if that was ultimately just to be a source of exposition, and while he can't physically be on the battlefield himself, warging into the Night King's dragon would gave him a much more tangible role in things.
