10. Essos Slavery In Full Swing

The simple fact remains that if Daenerys had marched to the very western tip of Essos and sailed to Westeros, her entire story arc to date would've been torn up, bearing in mind that this entire article is based on an alternate universe where Daenerys marches on Westeros following the death of Viserys. This means that Essos would still be a continent ruled by slave masters. The Unsullied, complete with Grey Worm, would still be under strict command, while Meereen, Astapor and Yunkai would all remain breeding pits for the slave trade. This is just the tip of the iceberg for how awful the world would look if Daenerys invaded early.
