Game Of Thrones: What If Joffrey Was The Hero? 7 Ways It Would Have Changed

3. Cersei Might Have Been Completely Different

If there's one thing everyone knows, it's that Cersei would do anything for her children. Even if it meant becoming a decent human being for them. Instead of having Ned's head chopped "clear from his shoulders", she might have had mercy on him and just cast him and his family out of King's Landing. She might never have had all of Robert's bastard children murdered (well the ones she could find), and she might even have been able to save her son from being murdered at his own wedding. Because even if she wasn't as ruthless and bitchy as we know her to be, she is still a force to be reckoned with. She's intimidating, independent and very powerful - everything you need to be a brilliant queen or queen mother. When Joffrey was poisoned, none of us really felt sorry for the old hag, but if they were both better people, we might have weeped for the grieving mother and even rooted for her to take on the Iron Throne. If she were a good person with good intentions (and went a little lighter on the wine), she would have made a strong and fierce leader to rule The Seven Kingdoms.
