Melisandre is a far more inconsistent prospect. Her shadow-birth assassin was immense, and worthy of winning any fight, but it seems like she has to invest a lot into each of her schemes to kill an individual. Royal blood isn't exactly flowing throughout the land, you know?

For this reason, Galadriel takes the victory. She's in total control, whereas Melisandre clearly made a fatal error of judgement in the Stannis saga. She's powerful, but the Red Priestess ain't no Lady of Light.
