Game Of Thrones Vs. Lord of The Rings: 12 Epic Deathmatches We Want To See

Everybody loves a good bit of horseback combat, and both Thrones and Lord of the Rings play host to two vastly contrasting sets of horse masters. The Riders of Rohan vs. the infamous Dothraki.

The Riders of Rohan are the ultimate 'here comes the cavalry' force, arriving late in both major battles from The Two Towers and Return of the King, but slaughtering the orcs in the their thousands upon arrival. This bunch of farmers, traders and commoners should never be underestimated, they're a boisterous, feisty army with a long-standing reputation.

However, the Dothraki are savages. They rape, pillage, burn, and annihilate villages very similar to those found around the plains of Rohan. There's no mercy, and treat their horses better than they treat one another.

Let's face it, the Dothraki would eat Rohan for breakfast. Not to mention the fact that the Rohirrim only mustered 6,000 men compared to the 100,000 potential Dothraki screamers in just a single Khalasar. This isn't even a fight, this is a bloodbath.
