3. Dany Rides A Dragon

One of the single coolest moments in the book series and promises to be one of the single most epic moments television will ever see. Dany rules over Mereen with a growing sense of dread. Her hard work has hardly paid off as she continues to create new enemies at every turn. War wages all around her and her dragons have grown very large and wild. Drogon cannot be controlled whatsoever and roams the skies freely, killing at will. I don't want to get into too much needless detail here because if anyone who's not a current reader of the books is still reading this article, they're just going to have many events needlessly spoiled. Here's the important parts: Dany agrees to wed a nobleman named Hizdahr in order to bring peace to Mereen and once successful they open the fighting pits in honor of the achievement. During the gladiator fights one of Dany's men is poisoned by locusts that were meant for Dany. Her Dragon, Drogon, appears above the pits because of all the fighting and enters the arena. The dragon begins to wreak havoc but is fought by several gladiators. Dany, senses her dragon is about to die and leaps into the pit in order to intervene. Drogon makes to attack her as well but after she scolds her dragon, the beast submits. She climbs on his back and mother and child fly away from Mereen. Dany is presumed dead but we see her land safely far, far away and a Dothraki khalasar is seen approaching...
