Game Of Thrones: 10 Things We Learned From “Two Swords”

2. Daenerys Will Punish More Slavers

While the characters in Westeros are busy with their problems, Daenerys and her followers are marching towards Meereen. The dragons have grown significantly since last season as well as more wild, prompting Jorah to remind the Khaleesi dragons cannot be tamed by anyone. Not even their own mother. We also see that Daenerys has developed a flirtatious relationship with Daario Naharis, the sellsword who pledged allegiance to her last season. Daario tells her that she needs to learn the culture of the slaves she€™s freeing so that she can better understand them. As the group progresses, they come across a dead slave girl hung up on a mile marker. Jorah informs her that there is one body for every mile marker approaching Meereen, with 163 total. Rather than have her men go ahead and bury the bodies, Daenerys is determined to see each one of their faces. Last season, Daenerys began her quest of freeing the slaves of Slaver€™s Bay, as well as punishing those who would own human beings. She continues this mission in season 4, and with an army and growing kingdom following her, she poses a threat to the leaders of Meereen. By attempting to provoke Khaleesi by posting these bodies on her route, they€™ve royally screwed themselves. As for Daario, Daenerys hasn€™t been with another man since the death of Khal Drogo, but it appears her romantic interests are rekindling with the sellsword leader at her side.
