Game Of Thrones: 10 Things We Learned From “Two Swords”

4. Jon Snow Is Being Grilled By The Night€™s Watch Leaders

Despite being wounded by three arrows, Jon was able to make it back to The Wall and warn the men of the Nights€™s Watch that the wildlings are coming to attack. However, rather than prepare for battle, Jon must testify before five high-ranking Brothers, including Measter Aemon, Janos Slynt and Lord Commander Aliser Thorne. Admitting he killed Qhorin Halfhand, Jon states that Qhorin asked him to so that he could go undercover with the wildings. He also admits that he slept with a wildling woman (Ygritte), but reiterates that they should be preparing for Mance Rayder€™s attack. Thorne and Slynt don€™t believe Jon and say he should be executed for breaking his vows, but Aemon (the sole voice of reason) believes Jon and has him released. As if dealing with approaching wildlings weren€™t bad enough, Jon now also has enemies among The Watch. While he was able to stay his execution this episode, Jon will likely have more confrontations with these individuals in the future. He€™d do well to watch his back.
