Game Of Thrones: 12 New Characters Set For Season 5

2. Yezzan

Over on the other side of the Narrow Sea, Daenerys' storyline in Meereen will get a new player as well in sleazy slave owner Yezzan. As we have discovered over the past two seasons, Dany does not suffer slaveholders lightly, and most of those with the misfortune to cross her path have been more likely to face summary execution than speak a word in their own defense. If his survival in Targaryen-occupied Meereen is any indication, Yezzan will be more nuanced and canny than the slavers that we have met so far. The nature of those nuances are less clear. Little is known about him beyond his occupation and location. However, if HBO Yezzan shares any of the characteristics of his Yunkish book counterpart, his slaves are not so much amassed for the purpose of manual labor as for a collection of "grotesques," and it's entirely possible that this affinity will be what brings him into contact with Dany or any of the other characters who have ventured away from Westeros. Overall, a new character may add some spice to Dany's lagging storyline in Slaver's Bay, and Yezzan could very well play an essential role in the Essos plot in Season 5.
