5. Drogo Rips Out Magos Tongue
The Moment: The time we spent with the Dothraki feels like a distant memory, but their actions still stand out. Mago was a background character in all this, but really embodied the rape and pillage ideology of the clan. Sadly for him that no longer matched up with Khal Drogos, who was lovingly wrapped round the Moon of his Lifes little finger. Fighting Mago weaponless (and receiving a fatal wound so gruesome it almost deserves a place on this list), he slits his enemies throat and rips out his whole tongue in two brutal movements.
Why It's So Sickening: Little embellishment is needed on my part here; a mans tongue... was pulled out... through his throat. Even though Mago had hardly been present before this point and had no redeeming features (we've no time for someone who doesn't like Daenerys), you cant help but wince at how graphic the scene was. Anyone wanting to claim the shocking elements on this list are more George R.R. Martins source than the shows sadistic bent can easily be silenced with this example in the books presently Mago is still alive.
