Game Of Thrones: 15 Upcoming Problems That Could Potentially Derail It
5. Can They Keep The Main Cast Contracted All The Way To The End?
Given their love and respect for the show, you would hope that Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke et all that will be with Game Of Thrones up to the very end... be it the entire show or their characters tragic fate if they don't make it quite that far. But there is a problem that all shows face the bigger they get; the actors get bigger and bigger too, and with that comes the attractive, proverbial knocking on the door that is Hollywood. Emilia Clarke is already slated to be the new Sarah Connor in the Terminator reboot; Peter Drinklage is the chief villain Bolivar Trask in the latest X Men movie, and Kit Harrington seems to be linked to every casting rumour these days. With Emilia and Kit in particular, they have come out of nowhere and received a lot of attention. Of course, some of these roles are undeniably the best they're ever going to play and that's why established actors from Charles Dance to Lena Headey and Diana Rigg are all on the show. With that in mind, we'll keep our fingers crossed that we don't see any of the major roles recast - unless the story calls for some Jaqen H'ghar-style face changing magic...
