Game Of Thrones: 15 Upcoming Problems That Could Potentially Derail It
4. The Dead Don't Advance That Far...
Okay, that's all the character / actor issues. Let's get back to some of the biggest upcoming problems the show faces: the plot itself. Once audiences have experienced some magnificent and tragic moments in season four, they'll be expecting the show to build to even greater things. Most of all, with a fair amount of resolution in the War of Five Kings story line, they'll expect two things to happen next. Daenarys to arrive with her dragons and the dead to come knocking. We've already discussed how Daenarys doesn't move beyond Slavers Bay, but with the dead, there's nowhere else to go but south. Right? Well despite the epic tease at the end of season two, a couple of dreaded encounters in season three and that awesome white walker on the horse at the end of the latest season four trailer, we're not going to get much more than more teasing. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of great stuff still to come at the wall. Ygritte's next confrontation with Jon Snow, Mace Ryder's assault, a timely arrival of an unexpected ally and the shocking fate of Jon Snow at the end of A Dance With Dragons. However the dead aren't going to come sweeping down towards Kings Landing any time soon...
