The natural consequence of that act, then, is that Melisandre falls pregnant, though incredulously, she is heavily pregnant merely two episodes later, and at the end of the episode, delivers the peculiar package she has been carrying. Davos is ordered by Stannis to take her to the shore, at which stage a shadowy figure forces its way out of her womb, standing before her as the episodes ends, in one of the show's most WTF and mostly unexplained scenes. Later in season two, the shadowy creature appears again to assassinate Renly, and in season three we learn a little more about the creatures, that their creation will drain the father of some aspect of his life essence, and so when Stannis asks to father another shadow baby with her, she refuses.
11. Osha Gets Naked (Season 2, Episode 6)
It would be easy to assume that wildling woman Osha isn't much to look at, given how she's frequently grubby in appearance and doesn't exactly wear the most flattering or figure-hugging of clothes. However, Natalia Tena scrubs up pretty well when given the chance, made clear when she seduces sex-crazed Theon Greyjoy in order to obtain her freedom. This is, of course, much to his delight, as he declares, "I always wondered what you had under there"" before they get down to business. However, this turns out to be a ruse, and as Theon has a post-coital nap, Osha frees the imprisoned Bran and Rickon, allowing them to make their hasty escape.
