Game Of Thrones: 7 Best Moments From 'The Lion And The Rose'

5. Jaime Trains With Bronn

It was nice to see Jaime and Tyrion just spending brotherly time together; something of which we had yet to see in full until this episode. It is clear that the two of them are closer to one another than anyone else in their family. Tyrion is the only one Jaime trusts enough to admit his failings and insecurities too. When Tyrion sees how distressed this makes his brother feel, he answers by giving him a sparring partner in the form of Bronn. The pairing of Jaime and Bronn is one that, in hindsight, you€™ve always wanted to see. Both of them have similar personality quirks that play off of each other well, although Jaime has certainly been humbled a bit since he lost a hand. In fact, it€™s downright strange to see Jaime as the submissive of the two, but that is what makes it great. Jaime has to learn to fight all over again, and he has a teacher who isn't afraid to fight dirty, which as we know, is a valuable trait to possess. This pairing is especially exciting for those who€™ve read the books, in which the two never meet and Ilyn Payne stands in for Jaime€™s sparring partner due to his inability to speak. This relationship is wholly invented for the show, and even the most loyal of fans have to admit is pretty awesome. Hopefully the two will be partners for some time and we get to see the dynamics between them evolve.
