Game Of Thrones Season 4: 20 Most Eye-Catching Moments So Far

12. Royal Wedding

We€™ve known a royal wedding for Joffrey and Margaery was coming since the finale of season 2. Now after a season of preparations, we€™ll finally be able to witness the union of House Lannister and House Tyrell this year. Expect a spectacular ceremony as befits the wedding of two wealthy families. Just keep in mind that weddings rarely play out as smoothly as you€™d like them to in Westeros.

11. Riding Into Battle

After liberating the slave cities Astapor and Yunkai in season 3, Daenerys will be moving on to the larger city of Meereen, which will present its own host of unique challenges. Here we see a man on a horse charging at Dany€™s army with what looks like a lance or spear. Who is this man, and what hope does he have taking on such numbers by himself? Well, look closely, and you€™ll see he is actually charging towards one man. Looks like Meereen€™s first act of defiance against the Mother of Dragons will be one on one. The sequence looks thrilling.

10. It Rhymes With Weak

Poor Theon Greyjoy. He may have been a turncloak, but the man got more than he deserved at the hands of the sadistic Ramsay Snow. Tortured and castrated, we left Theon (sorry, Reek) in a dark place at the end of season 3. So it€™s probably a surprise for many to see a brief glimpse of him all armored up and walking about in the trailer. Did Ramsay let him go, or did he escape back to the Iron Islands somehow? Knowing Ramsay, neither of these is probable, so fans can only guess at what sort of plans he has for the former Greyjoy prince.

9. Night's Watch Battle

The threat of wildling invasion has been an underlying one since the very first episode. Mance Rayder, the king-beyond-the-wall, has amassed an army of united wildling tribes with the goal of escaping the White Walkers by marching south. With Jon Snow€™s infiltration and subsequent betrayal of Mance€™s trust, we can expect this conflict to come to a head this upcoming season. We€™ve gotten tiny glimpses of the coming battle, and even from what little we€™ve seen it looks like it will trump the Battle of Blackwater in terms of scale. Also, with no Lord Commander, expect Jon€™s loyalty and leadership skills to be tested. It€™s going to be one of the most action-packed storylines.
