8. Prince Trystane Martell - Nico Marallegro

Prince Trystane Martell is the youngest son of Doran, and Myrcella Lannister's fiancé that she is sent to Dorne to be with. For the purposes of the show, the character has been aged up to 18, a handsome prince with black hair and olive skin. Since the role is meant for such a young actor, we think an up-and-coming actor would be best. After all, who had ever heard of Jack Gleason before he was cast as the sadistic Joffrey? Up-and-coming however, doesn't mean completely unknown. If we know producers (and we do), they want to fill their cast with as many recognisable names as faces as they can. But an issue we have in casting this particular role is the scant amount of information we have to go on, as Trystane barely appeared in the books, and not as an 18 year old. If they're looking for someone who could pull off sweet and earnest, we would go with someone like Nico Marallegro, currently on My Mad Fat Diary. Yes, we know that he played that annoying toolbox on Hollyoaks, but we think he's capable of so much more. But they're looking for a seductive, hot-blooded prince like his uncle, well, then we'll have to go back to the drawing board.
