Game Of Thrones Season 5: 10 Perfect Castings We'd Love To See

7. Nymeria Sand - Jessica Lucas

Nymeria is the second oldest of the Sand Snakes. In the casting breakdown, they specifically mention that they're looking for a mixed race actress; the daughter of Oberyn and a darker skinned woman. She's described as tall and willowy, with straight black hair pulled into a braid. She is more beautiful than her older sister Obara, but equally as skilled in combat, with a special fondness for knife fighting. At any time, Nymeria could be carrying as many as 12 daggers on her person. We decided to go with Jessica Lucas, a Canadian actress who has been getting more attention lately with her performances in Pompeii (alongside Game of Thrones star Kit Harington) and The Awkward Moment. She's clearly an actress on the rise, and Game of Thrones could be the perfect opportunity for her to cultivate a legitimate presence on screen. We can't argue with her look, which is perfect for the role, and she seems capable of bringing much-needed intensity to Nymeria.
