Games Of Thrones Season 7: What 'Beyond The Wall' Really Means
13. Tormund Can Go After Brienne Again

Tormund became the second character beyond the wall to fall into the Walking Dead Meat category with his own red herring in the run-up to the encounter with the White Walkers by expressing his love for Brienne.
He basically pulled out the stereotypical "when I get out of here I'm going to marry my girl" speech, just stopping short of producing a battered photograph of her as he talked with a gleam in his eye about wanting to have little warrior babies with her.
For the first time, this was a look at Tormund's romantic side, instead of him just being a bit of an animalistic pervert, and what he said about her was just about the most romantic thing ever said in the show. Great monuments should be erected to him, he's honestly a joy, and it's hard to contain the excitement that he survived and lives on to be reunited with his lady love again (assuming she's not horribly killed off somewhere down the line).
