Gilmore Girls' mother/daughter duo Lorelai and Rory are the heart and soul of the show.

Spanning seven seasons and a mini revival, Gilmore Girls followed the lives of daughter Rory as she sought to live out her dreams at an Ivy League college and her mother Lorelai in the small town of Stars Hollow.

The pair are incredibly similar and even share the same name. They have a parental relationship that is often envied by how close they are. Despite over the years they have their fallings out, both Lorelai and Rory's love and respect for each other always brings them back together.
