Glee: 10 Episodes EVERY Fan Should Have Seen
8. New Directions
An anniversary episode can always bring the feels, and New Directions is no exception. Celebrating the 100th episode of the show, this story showed numerous members of the glee club returning to McKinley High as the glee club is being shut down by Sue Sylvester.
New Directions features some great reinventions of previous Glee cover songs, particularly a stripped back "Loser Like Me". The story was also very heartfelt. Coming after the tragic passing of Cory Monteith, New Directions also manged to add more closure that the fans needed following his tribute episode.
Some of the stories progressed very nicely as well. Santana and Rachel's feud was reignited for a brief moment and Puck and Quinn had a beautiful finale to their relationship. While the "Don't Stop Believin'" cover at the end of the episode may not be the best version of the song we've heard, it is impossible not to get choked up. Every Glee club member joins in and it was the perfect ending for the anniversary episode.
