Glee: 5 Likely Character Predictions For The Future

5. Rachel Berry

This one is by far the easiest prediction for me... and in the very very small chance that Ryan Murphy were to read this article, know that just because we all know where Rachel's life is headed doesn't mean we want you to suddenly become all unpredictable. Though at the same time, do what you want, it is your show. Like Walter White in Breaking Bad's journey has been his fall from having a pretty good life to (well, what I assume will be) having absolutely nothing- the rise and then major fall of your average middle-aged man; Rachel Berry's journey is all about her reaching the stars. Though initially the underdog, it is pretty much written in the stars that Rachel Berry's dreams will come true by the end of the series, and she will become a Broadway star eventually. Since the beginning of the show I have been pretty certain on the last scene Glee will ever air, though I have been wrong in the past (Kurt not getting into Nyada? What the what?). Ryan Murphy says he already has the last scene mapped out, and although his lips are sealed on this, I think I have him all worked out. Rachel's journey will end as Rachel gets her first big job on Broadway (perhaps her first real speaking character ever, or a major role in a major flashfoward). She will be waiting behind the curtains and the curtains will open, the spotlight on her... she is nervous until she looks out into the audience, and guess who is sitting or standing in front of her with flowers, waiting anxiously for her to perform... Finn Hudson of course. A smile will be shared between the two as the show ends. This is where it gets a little more tricky however. I believe Finn and Rachel will be apart for the rest of Season 4. Rachel will have a relationship with Brody that will develop into love until it all goes to hell probably in Season 5 or at the end of Season 4. Though I would say that Finn and Rachel will end up together at the end, when Finn watches her perform on Broadway for the first time, he could have come just as a good friend, perhaps even married to someone else entirely. The smile they share could be out of respect more than love. The more likely answer is that Finn and Rachel will get back together briefly, but things will get troublesome for the two. At the end of the show as Rachel is about to perform in her big starring role, she will be unsure of where her and Finn's relationship is... maybe even thinking Finn has moved away. When she sees him in the audience, she knows that their futures are to be spent together. Cory Monteith (Finn) has compared the couple to Ross and Rachel from Friends on several occasions, so having a very similar ending to that show is probably in Glee's future.

I am a recent Screenwriting for Film and Television graduate from the UK. I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
