4. Finn Hudson
OK, so I have more or less told you my prediction for his relationships future with Rachel, but what about his dreams? What about Finns career future? I think I have worked this one out, but because the show keeps on changing their minds with Finn... first he wanted to be an actor, then he wanted to be in the army... the creators could really go any random way they choose. But here is the most likely future... Finn likes to inspire people and he likes to lead; this is a character trait that the writers really tried to drive into us in the season so far. From the next episodes promo, we can see that Finn will be directing the school musical, and there are major rumors that while Mr Schue is out of the country as he has been accepted into the Blue Ribbon Government Panel to improve arts education in Washington D.C, Finn will take over the Glee Club. So here is my big prediction... Finn will realize after leading the Glee club to a sectionals victory that he loves to teach. Having been inspired so much by Will in the past, he will realize that teaching is the right career path for him, and will devote his efforts from then on in applying to become a teacher, probably by taking classes in the local college or even to bring his story closer to Rachel, in a college in New York City. Finn has always been a little like a mini Will, and on more than one occasional Will has said that Finn reminds him of himself... so this sort of just feels right to me. That said, Finn isn't the smartest biscuit in the barrel, although the writer's aren't that bothered about changing various facts to make them convenient to future storylines so I don't see this as much of a problem. He at least managed to graduate school with very little trouble although he tried to cheat off Brittany's test paper in Season 1 so how this happened we will never know. Also, keeping Finn apart from Rachel if he does decide to stay in Ohio will be an odd story choice seeing as this will mean that the two will no longer be able to duet or have many scenes with each other... pretty much Glee's bread and butter. Although I can really see Finn all dressed up in a sweater vest, teaching the future kids of McKinley High by the end of the series, and this sounds like a pretty neat and almost clear character direction for the former New Directions kid to take. Certainly wouldn't be the worst thing the writer's have done to Finn.
