2. Blaine Anderson
Well, I just said it didn't I, and I'd be hugely surprised if this didn't happen considering everything we know about Blaine. Blaine will apply to Nyada and he will get in (he is a member of all the school clubs and is the student class president and lead soloist of the New Directions after all), thus allowing him to move to New York and peruse his dreams of being a Broadway star. At New York, Rachel will become a mentor to Blaine and a great friendship will blossom between the two. As the characters who are given the most solos in the show, these are arguably Ryan Murphy's favorite (at least favorite performers) and it would be too big of an opportunity to pass down than to have these two have more duets together. Like Brody helps Rachel at Nyada in Season 4, Rachel will do the same thing with Blaine. Kurt and Blaine will be a little awkward around each other when this move first happens, but eventually they will grow close again and become great friends before becoming boyfriends again. Blaine will have a relationship with another Nyada member at his time at the school, and a gay love triangle will be in full swing in the middle section of Season 5. But here is my big prediction for Season 4. Blaine will rejoin the Dalton Academy Warblers and will go on to lead the Warblers to a victory at Nationals. OK, so I would actually admittedly be surprised if this is the direction the show takes, but this, in my opinion is the current decision and should happen. First off, do we really want to see the New Directions win again? Wouldn't that just be so predictable and so boring? I already know that the Warblers are coming back and will try to get Blaine to rejoin them (this is happening) and considering Sebastian (who will not be in Season 4) tried this and failed in season 3, to have the Warblers try and fail again will be too repetitive, even for Glee. This means they will have to succeed. Perhaps something terrible happens for Blaine at the school which makes him want to leave (and Sam will become new student president) or perhaps the New Directions will loose sectionals (unlikely) and Blaine will decide to take up the Warblers offer and join them, only for the New Direction to be given another chance because a team had to pull out. I don't know about you, but Blaine and the Warblers against the New Directions at Nationals would definitely be exciting. Darren Criss was known to be a little upset that he ever left Dalton, and like he said in the third episode of Season 4, he doesn't really have all that much left for him at McKinley anymore. Plus, there are probably a lot of gay guys at Dalton for Blaine to take his pick of. And FYI... Blaine will also, like Rachel, get his big break on Broadway, but I predict his will actually become before Rachel's much to her annoyance. The show does like to make things difficult for her, though in the end always allow her to succeed. As for Kurt and Blaine ending up together at the end, I think Ryan Murphy would be silly for this to happen (they can't all end up together) although I wouldn't put it past him, and if Kurt was the costume designer on one of his musicals, or even wrote the musical (perhaps based on their lives as a couple) this could be an easy way to get them back together at the end.
