Good Cop cuts through the police tape and deviates from realistic police protocol; there aren't too many other police dramas out where with a plot following a serial killer working within the force, and that's what makes the show stand out from all the other Cop Drama's on our television screens at the moment. It dares to be original, and isn't just another generic short back-and-sides police drama on the TV schedule. It brings something new to the table and reinvigorates the police drama series, and if it doesn't get awarded a second series, it would be a crying shame.
