6. Does The DCI Know Sav's Secret?
One of the things I picked up on during season one of the show was the increasing suspicion of Detective Chief Inspector Craig Costello (
Mark Womack) regarding the activities of Sav. As a Detective, no less a "Chief Inspector", it seems hard to believe that when presented with an employee in the force who has just had his best mate killed by some thugs, coupled with said thugs turning up dead, that he wouldn't add two and two together. Since Costello found out that Sav was at the scene when armed cops raided the house of Heinz after discovering Sav knew of his arrest despite not being present at the time, I think the DCI is finally cottoning on to Sav's secret. "What would I find if i came knocking on your door?" A suspicious Costello asks Sav. "A biscuit and a cup of tea" retorts Sav. But there is more than that - much more, and if there is a series two, it would be most interesting if the DCI did knock on Sav's door to see what lay behind it.
