An up-and-coming Mad Hatter could provide Gotham with one crazy trip down the rabbit hole for Gordon and Bullock. Through his obsession with Alice in Wonderland and with a host of potential kidnapping victims in Gotham, from children to the future Mrs. Gordon, Tetch would give the show an opportunity to play with some truly twisted imagery involving tea parties, lots and lots of hats and a complete package of Wonderland-themed weirdness. Should Tetch be locked up after his first appearance, the fact that the character was finally granted his first live-action appearance would be cool enough. Unfortunately for Gordon's arrest record, we'd be rooting for Tetch to get away and make recurring appearances throughout the seasons at random, allowing the audience to check in with the character now and again as he develops and hones his propensity for mind control while continuing to spiral deeper into madness.
