Calendar Man is a character whose presence on the show could be a long-term game. Across the course of a season or seasons, the GCPD could continually be faced with holiday-centric or seasonally-themed crimes with no leads on a suspect until the creative team decides it's finally time to introduce Julian Day in the flesh, either left to continue committing his crimes uncaught until Batman arrives or apprehended to give Gordon a win. If the latter were the case, the show could even take a page from how the general public may know him from the popular story The Long Halloween or through the Arkham games, with Gordon being forced to visit him for the sake of garnering clues about a criminal at large that Day cryptically may or may not know something about. While the character's criminal methodology may seem relatively tame, the right actor could completely turn Day into an uncomfortably scary but wholly pleasing addition to the show.
