Especially if The Penguin's predictions come true. Precognition isn't something the comics Cobblepot ever boasted, and the animal's don't possess psychic powers (so far as anybody knows), yet most of his screen time in Gotham - when he isn't stabbing people for their car, wallet or shoes - has been babbling on about an upcoming "war" which will result in blood running through the city streets. Pretty ominous! Now it appears that The Penguin himself might be trying to bring about said war, invoking a long-simmering battle between the city's two major crime families. Failing that, he'll just kickstart Fish Mooney's mutiny against the bosses she currently works under. Whatever happens, it's going to be violent. Gotham is not a show that trades in subtlety. You saw Balloonman, right? And how the corruption of the police force has illustrated? And the fact they changed Poison Ivy's real name from Pamela Isley to Ivy Pepper, just in case her love of plants didn't give her away? Or basically anything that's happened so far? Yeah, the signposting of where this season is going to culminate has been similarly on-the-nose. Regardless of whether Oswald's machinations actually come off, there's going to be some sort of violent confrontation between the different crime families, the varying factions in the police department, or possibly all of them.
