Gotham: 10 Reasons Why It’s A Bust

9. Young Bruce Wayne

What's worse than a Batman show that does not feature Batman? A Batman show that has an un-entertaining young version of the Caped Crusader before he knew how to do anything. It is understandable that the creators wanted to show how Bruce Wayne became Batman from Day 1, but instead of looking like a master fighter and tactician in training, he comes across as a modern day version of Young Indiana Jones, but not as exciting (and remember how long that show lasted). Fans know they won't see a fully grown and costumed Batman in this version of the story, but why must they instead get a whiny and angry pre-teen who appears more on the path to being Catwoman's Robin than becoming Batman.
