Gotham: 10 Reasons The Court Of Owls Will Enhance The Show

3. Calvin Rose

As The Court of Owls is predominantly full of rich people who don't cut their nails, meaning that they aren't that much of a physical threat. But the Talons? The Talons are hardcore. So hard core, in fact, that Batman had to don a Mecha Robot Bat-Suit to take them on. If you thought Batman was cool, you should see what he's like when he takes a page out of Tony Stark's billionaire playbook, because you just know that those two get together once a month and laugh about how much money the rest of us don't have. Because life isn't fair and everybody hates me, we won't be getting to see Mecha Robot Bat-suit in Gotham. We can, however, see the Talons, of which there are two who could translate well for the show. The first is Calvin Rose, the only Talon to ever escape the grasp of the Court of Owls. Fleeing his dad, who used to put him in a dog kennel because he was a very confused man, Rose became an escape artist and performer for Haly's Circus (home of the Flying Graysons and already introduced in Gotham). Scouted, recruited and then trained by the Court, Calvin decided to leave, because people who eat mice raw are not your friends. Calvin could become an ally to Jim Gordon when the Night of the Owls is to take place. Having someone who has an in-depth knowledge of the Court and their inner workings would provide invaluable for Jim.
