Gotham Cast: Where Are They Now?

Ben McKenzie portrayed Gotham's central protagonist James 'Jim' Gordon throughout all five seasons. The move to focus on James - as opposed to Bruce Wayne, who forms the focus of many Batman projects - was a refreshing change as we bore witness to Gordon's rise from detective to commissioner.

Despite being the show's main star, Ben has opted to stay away from film and television projects following Gotham's conclusion. Instead, the actor made his Broadway debut in the play Grand Horizons, which was staged at New York's Hayes Theatre. The limited run ran for around four months.
