Gotham Season 3: 5 Ups And 5 Downs From 'Anything For You'

1. Butch's Loins Suppress The Lion

Penguin Gotham
Fox

Ever since it happened, this has been the perennial problem that Gotham has had in the plot department.

It's clear that Oswald Cobblepot cherished and adored his mother. She was his saint, the only person who had any faith, love or respect for him. And Tabitha mortally stabbed her in the back right in front of him. Something that would make the Penguin cut her into little pieces and then feed her the pieces and rinse/repeat.

But she is alive because Butch has a schoolyard crush on her. It is the stupidest plot-hole in a show where everyone's axle is a little wonky because so many streets are in disastrous shape. Now Butch has turned on Penguin to disastrous results and is about to be rescued by Tabitha. It's an unforgivable blight on the story and has been since the untimely death of mumma Cobblepot, not to mention the character of Oswald himself.
