Black Mask was a villain introduced to an entirely new generation of Batman fans in the Batman: Arkham video game series, and as such him appearing in Gotham certainly wouldn't go amiss. Granted, he'd have to lose the iconic mask, but even as a child simply named Roman Sionis, he has plenty of intrigue to offer: much like Bruce, his parents were extremely wealthy, and again much like Bruce, he had a traumatic encounter with an animal as a child (a rabid raccoon rather than bats). As Roman's opportunistic parents sought to elevate their own social status by clinging by the Waynes, he was forced to become friends with Bruce, something which, even with the death of Bruce's parents, could be explored in a one-off episode (perhaps employing flashbacks if need be). How Likely Is It? 4/10. The problem here is that the name Roman Sionis simply isn't that iconic by itself, so without the villain get-up, the reference would fall flat on a high number of viewers. It's a cool idea and one that would fit effortlessly into the whole young Bruce Wayne storyline, yet short of maybe a single scene if we're lucky, it's unlikely we'll get to see Roman and Bruce hanging out.
