Season 1 left off with Will behind bars, arrested for the Chesapeake Ripper copycat murders (which, of course, were committed by Hannibal). Over the course of the season it was revealed that Hannibal was backing Will into a corner; betraying his trust and framing him for the crimes being investigated throughout the season. Will, of course, hasn't gone anywhere, and is still behind bars after being arrested by Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne). How long he'll stay there remains to be seen, especially considering that he himself doesn't remember if he's guilty or not. Though he definitely has an idea of who put him there...
