"Could we have been that wrong?" Despite the evidence piling up against him, Crawford and Dr. Bloom just can't accept that Will is guilty. Crawford is a man easily convinced by hard evidence, so despite any doubts he may have, he'll most likely be the voice of reason to a more personally attached Dr. Bloom. If you remember, it was she who first thought that Lecter may have been lying about Will's psychiatric condition, and chances are she's carried that doubt with her into season two. We don't see much of her in this promo, but the brief glimpses we do see suggest that her feelings for Will will keep her on his side for at least a bit longer. Jack has grown closer and closer with Hannibal as the season goes on, and the two have struck up quite the friendship. Hannibal has this wonderful sense of mystery about him that it's impossible not to get sucked in. Does Hannibal have a firm enough hold on Crawford to keep him from discovering the truth? Judging by the final shocking moments in this promo, it appears not...
