Harry Potter TV Show: 13 Changes To The Originals They Should Make

12. Make It So That Harry Isn't Rich

In the first book, it is revealed that Harry is actually really rich and has a lot of money stored in a Gringotts vault. And then... this is rarely, if ever, mentioned again.

For most of both the book series and the film series, Harry seems to completely forget that he's got plenty of money which could've helped him in so many situations.

The TV series' showrunner - whoever it ends up being - would be wise to drop this plot point altogether, as it added absolutely nothing and raised too many questions about why Harry never seems to use any of his money. For example, he could've used some of his fortune to help the Weasleys after Mr. Weasley got a huge fine thanks to him and Ron stealing the flying car in Chamber of Secrets.
