Harry Potter TV Show: 13 Changes To The Originals They Should Make

11. Ditch Grawp

The Harry Potter books might be uniformly excellent, but it's no controversial thing to say that The Order of the Phoenix is one of, if not the weakest books in the series. It is just too darn long and there was plenty that could've been cut.

The first thing to go should've been Grawp, Hagrid's half-brother, who is a contender for the most pointless character in the whole series.

Grawp added nothing to the books, and for some inexplicable reason, the film included him (while omitting other, far more important things like Snape's worst memory) and he was totally pointless there as well. As such, the TV show would do itself a huge favour by ditching Grawp and focusing on the other, vastly more compelling elements in Order of the Phoenix.
