Xander Feng is one of the most important new characters in season two, a corrupt Chinese businessman who serves as a backchannel diplomat and partner of businessman Raymond Tusk. When we're first introduced to him, he has a bag over his head, is tied up, and is being serviced orally by a woman who appears to be one of his assistants, along with a man as well. The scene is never given any context later on in any way (except for Feng offering prostitutes to Doug Stamper when he visits him in China), and simply seems to be the show's way of saying "this guy is a sleazebag and you probably shouldn't trust him". I suppose it's in the interest of characterisation, but did this scene really add anything, other than confusion and creepiness? If they made us want to be suspicious of Feng, I suppose it did work...
