House Of Cards: Ranking All The Main Characters From Worst To Best

Freddy Hayes was a strange character in the House Of Cards world, he had nothing to do with politics and knew Frank because of how much Frank frequented his restaurant. Still, he ended up getting deeply screwed over by the proximity he shares to Frank, which brings down their friendship in the end too.

Freddy was always an interesting character because he was Frank's link to the common man, Freddy had no plans to bring Frank down or do him any harm, and even when his friendship with Frank was damaged beyond all repair he still refused to give any information to Hammerschmidt when prompted too.

It felt like the show ran out of ideas of what to do with Freddy and he was phased out of the show in the third and fourth seasons.

Wonderfully acted by Reg E. Cathey, Freddy was a fun character who saw Frank as he really was, which made his view of Frank all the more interesting.
