Doug has had a rough time in Season Four as a number of times he felt his power slipping away. He wavered on the edge of sobriety at times and fully snapped at other times, until he finally found a new relationship that seemed to give him some comfort. And in pure Doug Stamper fashion, it was a super creepy relationship. To illegally manipulate the organ donor list causing the rightful recipient to die is one thing, but to then start up a relationship with the wife of the guy you essentially killed? You've got issues Doug. He already has a weird fascination with Rachel and we all know how well that ended. No doubt this new relationship will similarly go up in smoke and have some pretty dire consequences, but for now, they both seem happy. And isn't that what really-- no, it's still weird.
