With Lucas Goodwin dead, there needed to be another determined journalist to take up the investigation into Franks corruption. Enter Tom Hammerschmidt. Tom is a much more rational man than Lucas and he expertly starts connecting the dots in the case despite having no previous insight into things. But still, he too seems to run into a lot of walls with the investigation, including getting the snot beat out of him by Freddy. When he seems to be down and with nowhere to turn, Remy Danton suggests they play a very informative drinking game. The more Remy drinks, the more Tom uncovers. By the time the drinks are done, Tom has a lot of new pieces to the puzzle and the Frank has a new, very serious problem.
