Claires affair with Yates comes at a time when her and Franks relationship is stronger than ever and it could be just the thing that brings all that down to the ground. But Frank has learned from his past mistakes and he is willing to let Claire be happy for the sake of their marriage. Frank tells Claire that hes fine with the arrangement, and in an incredibly awkward scene, the three sit down to share breakfast together after Yates and Claire spent the night with each other. It adds another strange element to an already dysfunctional marriage. But the Underwoods now realize that their union is too important to have anything tear it apart again. While Claire found a special bond with Yates, Frank remains her partner in crime.
