How DC Can Craft The PERFECT Shared Universe On HBO Max
4. Fold In Swamp Thing
As one of DC's most original shows, and one that was canned way too soon, it would be a shame to leave Swamp Thing behind in the move to HBO.
The titular character is a recurring character in the most recent Justice League Dark run, so including him would likely be a must regardless of whether it were the version from this show or not.
As such, it would be wasteful to recast all the characters that debuted in the DC Universe original, especially when certain ones (namely Madame Xanadu) were instrumental in the formation of Dark.
Though, if it is decided that it would be best for the HBO shows to all be completely new, then I'm sure DC would be able to find a suitable replacement.
