4. It's Nothing Like The Other Superhero Shows
A majority of the CW shows have fallen prey to the dreaded network TV formula that plagues many superhero shows. Set up a villain of the week, have the hero fail at first, then defeat and put them away until they're needed later in the season. Not the worst structure, but when you follow it far too often across multiple seasons (with 20+ episodes per), then you start wearing on the tolerance level of viewers.
Once again, this is where Legends learned from the Arrowverse's mistakes.
Since this is a show about time-travellers attempting the maintain order whilst all-powerful villainous figures try to do the opposite, how they go about fixing problems and pursue any evildoers is refreshingly different most of the time. Certain characters will be the MVP problem-solvers, while other ones will inevitably cause more.
Proceedings are presumably taken care of by the end, but there will always be something, some loose end or forgotten element, that hints greater problems in the future. Things are rarely fully resolved, giving you that 'want' for more - for what'll come next.
