7. Naked Man

Pick-up master Barney Stinson is out-done by lowly Mitch, a chubby chap whose only move is "The Naked Man". This primitive play simply involves stripping off while the lady is out of the room and hope that they sleep with you through pity, humour, sheer spontaneity or a combination of them all. Marshall's white frame is bad enough, but Mitch's flabby bottom on the gang's couch, in an attempt to score Robin, is not a pleasant image that anyone wishes to entertain. Ted, Barney and Lily all try the move, proving Mitch's claim that it works two out of three times as Barney gets spectacularly thrown out of some poor woman's apartment, while the other two find some success. HIMYM again uses nudity for awkward comic purposes, leaving Mitch the only one who isn't cringing.
